The Effects Of The Industrial Revolution
The Industrial Revolution; a time of British technological advancements, a revolution introducing capitalism and the rise of new inventions and even improving the standards for the future generations to come.

Though this revolution introduced all of the listed advancements, technological breakthroughs also left all of England's working class with a devastating blow. Presently, many skilled workers are loosing well-paying jobs, families are left to starve and the poor of England is now left to scrounge on low paying jobs and dangerous work environments.
Currently, machinery and factories are being introduced into British society. Machines to make cloth are particularly high in demand and cut the cost of fabric by more than 1/3. However, this is leaving many skilled cloth-makers to be engulfed by unemployment, low wages, and even starvation and disease. Although a revolt has been lead by a group that was known as the "Luddites", which was largely assembled by clothmakers resisting the technological change, the end of the rebellion was met with a bloody conclusion in 1812. Now men, women and even children as young as 6 years old are beginning to conform to working in factories in order to support themselves and their loved ones. Whole families are working in these dangerous factories, with high risks of lung disease and machinery-related injuries...
