The significance of endospores to bacteria is that endospores form to help the bacteria withstand harsh conditions. Endospores are thick-coated resistant cells produced within bacteria cells. They are produced when a bacteria is exposed to harsh conditions.
b) The significance of endospores to humans are that in humans endospores can help a harmful bacteria hide in the body and extend the life of a bacteria. Endospores encase bacterium in a protective coating and that is why bacteria can live many years, waiting for a favourable environment to reappear.
