Volunteering
I have had some of the most rewarding experiences in my life volunteering and working with people in my community. I can't describe the inner feeling you get knowing that you have helped another, even if you help them in the smallest way. I love to put a smile on someone's face. For me, helping others has helped me mature, be more understanding, caring, and have a better sense to life.
I worked with a little girl named Lauren who had Cerebral Palsy. I didn't just help her but she helped me as well. She reminded of something's I may take for granted. She had a hard time just walking. That's something I do everyday and sometimes don't realize how lucky I am to be able to do that. She usually had to use a wheelchair to get around most of the time...
