Religion has always been important since the beginning of time. Religion could mean to many, a heaven or hell; a right or wrong; or just something to rely on as you walk through life. There were many different cultures, and with those cultures are many different religions. The ancient Greeks used to believe in Gods and Goddesses. Each God or Goddess had their own source from which a power derived. In the beginning there was absolute chaos and from chaos was born Gaea. From Gaea, Kronos, Rhea, and other Gods and Goddesses were born. Kronos was the superior God until his son Zeus killed him. After Kronos' death, Zeus was in reigning power.
