The smell of freshly cut grass, and the thrill of extra innings is what brings most fans to the ballpark. There are many ways to get "more for your money" during a day at the Angel Stadium. One can spend almost the entire day going to a baseball game and get more for his/her money before, during, and after the game is played.
Getting the most out of the pre-game festivities helps to get the most from ones money. Over the past two years, I have attended somewhere around sixty Angels games, and I couldn't have afforded it if I wasn't watching how much I was spending. Tailgating is a great way to cut back on how much is spent. With food and beer prices inside the stadium costing an arm and a leg, bringing a six-pack and some hot dogs from the grocery store for fifteen dollars is a tremendously better deal than two dollar hot dogs and six dollar Budweiser. Listening to the pre-game show on the radio, tossing around a football, and enjoying a barbeque with some good friends for a few dollars a piece, is just the beginning of how one can get the most from his/her money. Once all the food is finished, one should venture into the stadium to soak up all that there is to offer inside. One great thing to do is watch batting practice...
