I do strongly agree that teachers should make learning enjoyable and fun. I do so with the following reasons:
Firstly let's have a look at the memory of the student and Retentiveness of the subject by the student. By making the learning process enjoyable and fun, the subject matter could easily be retained by the students in the receiving end. It happens for the very reason that the students' memory is very attentive to his/her different senses such as listening, seeing, smelling, feeling, etc. In an enjoyable and fun environment student's different senses could be stimulated to catch the subject and retain it.
Secondly, another very significant factor is Receptivity of the students to the interesting and attractive subjects. As it has long been experimented, students have always been receptive to lectures and discussions, which have been presented in an enjoyable and amusing fashion. For example, a child in class one could easily be receptive to the math teacher, if she, the teacher, relates the new lesson for summing two numbers with such things as (pen, pencil, birds, cat, dog, book, person, etc.) available in the environment of the child himself.
Thirdly, the efficiency and rapidity of transmission of the subject matter is also of great value...
