Drugs and Alcohol on Campus
Most of today's colleges prohibit alcohol and drugs on campus. Some students may feel this is a violation of their rights, but these rules are only helping them. Outlawing alcohol and drugs from college campuses lowers the student addiction and crime rates. The attendance of students also stays high as a result of not having drugs and alcohol on campus. These results of anti-drugs and alcohol on school grounds, is why I am a supporter of keeping them away from students.
Alcohol and drugs are infamous for their ability to lure people into a detrimental path. There are countless number of individuals who fall victim to the effects of alcohol and drugs. Alcohol and drug use can cause health problems that can last a life time. When students use drugs and alcohol they may feel invincible at the time they are using them, but in reality they are slowly ruining their bodies. If these harmful substances are available on college campuses, the number of people who are dependent on them would increase dramatically...
