Resistance Of A wire
In this piece of coursework I will be investigating how the length of a piece of wire affects the current going through it also the voltage of the wire. The equipment I will be using is: 1 lab pack
100 cm of wire
6 wires and crocodile clips
Voltmeter
Ammeter
I will also be investigating the resistance of the wire. I will investigate this by seeing if my prediction is correct:
My prediction is; the longer the wire the more resistance there is. ... I will make sure I write the number I see first and after I have seen the number I will turn the labpack off and this gives me time to write the number down and if leave the lab pack on the wire will get hotter and hotter and this will affect my results.
