Franz Kafka's Life
Franz Kafka was a man of many miseries with very few achievements during his life. He was born in Prague, which was formerly part of Austria, in 1883. His parents were middle-class Jewish citizens. His father, Herman Kafka was the dictator of his family. This is where Kafka's primitive suffering began. Herman Kafka extracted most of his anger against his son. Franz Kafka's father's character somewhat took over Kafka's work as well as his life. In his autobiography, he claimed his father was the reason that his attempts at marriage and fatherhood did not succeed. He felt his will was broken by his father. However, his father's figure played an important role in his written work...
