The Great philosopher Charles Darwin was born in Shrewsbury, England, on February 12,1809. Charles Darwin was not an instant scholar, his father removed him from Shrewsbury School and sent him to Edinburgh to study medicine. Darwin did not like medicine and could not stand to watch operations, which at that time were performed without any anesthesia. In 1827 Darwin was sent to Christ's College Cambridge to study ministry. Darwin paid little attention to his ministry studies and became acquainted with many scientists. Darwin developed and interest in natural history and became influenced by John Steves Henslow a professor of botany. Darwin received his B.A in 1831 and became interested in botany and collecting beetles.1
