Artemis Fowl
By: Eoin Colfer
Artemis Fowl was a good book. Well by my standards. I liked the fact that the
main character was criminaly inclined and only twelve. Oh and his butler was
pretty cool too. I guess if they were to make it into a movie it would have a lot of action,
and I like action. Suprisingly enough it is a good book, and thats high complaments
coming from me, there is enough action tokeep me interested and enough suspense to
keep me reading more.
Artemis Fowl involving a classic magic vs. humans/real world plot, this book
starts the infamous super-genius Artemis Fowl and his encounter with the place of non
existence, the magical realm. It starts off with Artemis and his faithful guard, Butler in
Ho Chi Minh City, one of the many places that Artemis has been to on his adventure
for evidence of the magic. There, Artemis finds a book (a fairy book to be precise)
which contains the key to the very thing he, and his many predecessors (who were,
unsurprisingly, all successfully rich masterminds/criminals, it must be the theme of the
book) before him, craved: pure fairy gold, which is very valuble even more than
"human gold"...
