A motocross bike is a highly tuned racing machine that is race ready right out of the box. The engines on these bikes include the latest state of the art technology to provide maximum power. These engines are very high maintenance and have a short life span. The handling characteristics on these bikes are superb. This is due to the excellent suspension on the bikes. The power to weight ratio ratio of the bikes is great. The high power of the engine combined with the low weight of the bike is what makes it so quick.
Many people automatically think that four-wheelers are safer to ride than dirtbikes simply because they have four wheels. Those four wheels can often times give a false sense of security. If someone is attempting to climb a hill on a four-wheeler and the hill becomes to steep and the front of the machine begins to lift the rider has only two options...
