We now live in a technologically advanced society, various types of new devices are designed to bring us a more convenient and more vivid life. We can't imagine what life would be like without these modern devices. The video camera is one of these modern devices that becomes more and more important in our life, it is a so useful tool to record matters that some people think that the traditional written records will be taken place by the new way of recording. However, both the two kinds of recording play different roles in our contemporary life.
The video camera, which is a new pet of modern people, can record an event or other things accurately and vividly. Sometimes we take out our photos to share the old memories with close friends, whatever things in the photo were recorded accurately as soon as the photographer shot. A sweet smile, a happy brithday party, a wierd pose, and countless others can't escape the video camera's lens. The event recorded by the camera is more vivid than the written one for we can see the image of the person, of the sceneries directly without imaging them through the words written on papers. On the contrary, written records can just provide us pages of information of what happened at the very time, and it is likely to miss something.
