James Dean
James Dean was born February 8, 1931, in Marion Indiana. James was the only child of Winton and Mildred (Wilson) Dean. Winton was a dental technician. He moved his family to Santa Monica California, when James was six years old. James a lot of attention, but he was more close to his mother. His mother called him James Byron. James went into the first grade in 1937, at the Brentwood public school, where he took violin lessons, but his friends made fun of him. When James was in the first grade his mother died of cancer in 1940. He took his mothers death very hard. James's father sent him back to Indiana to live with Marcus and Ortense Winslow, his brother and sister in law...
