Henry would fit right in because of people's attitudes and rudeness about almost everything. The theme that Higgins portrays, that he is rude and unfriendly yet still good-hearted, can still be seen in many people today.
Eliza Doolittle is another main character in this play. She is the flower girl on the street as the play begins and is later transformed into a sophisticated lady by Higgins. She has a very strong personality in light that she knows what is good for her or not, but she also has a sensitive side to her. Her relationship with Henry Higgins is probably the most important one she has during the play. He is the one trying to transform her and also the one noticing how pretty of a girl she really is. Eliza's ethics are pretty strong I believe. She knows who she is, even though she wouldn't mind being of a high-class in society. When she gets the chance to become a woman of rank, she makes sure she doesn't let her personality change even though her behaviors and speech change...
