Gangster rap is form of rap that deals with the traumas of young blacks growing up in the ghetto and underprivaledged homes. At first rappers used to rap about the injustice done to the underprivaledged Arifican Americans. However, the lyrics have become more and more abusive. They even attack their own race with degrading and offensive remarks. It promotes violence, degrade women, and mislead youngsters. I feel that gangster rap should be banned.
Gangster rappers promote and glorify violence. Some rappers rap about violence to sell records but others do it because it is all they know. Violence is one of the main topics in a rap song. It is this violence and "beef" that led to the killing of Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls...
