Talk to Her, directed by Pedro Almodüvar, is one of a few dramatic and emotionally touching movies I have ever seen. ... In Talk to Her, love is seen as obsession by Benigno which verges onto insanity as well as normality. ... Since Talk to Her is also about narration, I will discuss in this essay as of how my reactions are to this movie, and I will tell stories just like Benigno telling stories about ballet to the beautiful young woman Alicia, who is in a coma. ... There are many reasons for us to feel this way: 1) we have no idea who is that male nurse in the poem 2) we only feel mad and sad through reading the poem because it is written through the perspective of a woman who is terrified for being raped 3) we are not given details of how the male nurse came about raping the patient where as in Talk to Her, we know Benigno did it because he loves her so much and as it turns out, he saves her life.
