Understanding Conflict in the Workplace
Conflict will always be an issue whether working in a small office or a large corporation. When different personalities work together they are bound to disagree and conflicts can arise. It is human nature to want to resolve conflict and smooth out the edges. But does all conflict need to be resolved or can conflict help to develop certain attributes and build confidence in team members.
Attributes such as learning the value of teamwork and challenging critical thinking can actually turn conflict into interest. This enables a team to achieve their goals successfully while developing the team's individual skill set. Conflict can ultimately increase productivity and promote good moral in the workplace.
