Sticking to the most current issues, Gay marriage in the United States is the hottest topic. I decided to choose President Bush's views on this idea. In the state of Massachusetts, there is a debate whether or not same sex marriage should be allowed. Homosexuals in the area are petitioning to get a law passed that would make it legal to get married. This gives gays more leeway, and more benefits in the system. Thus, giving them equal rights in regards to heterosexual couples. As of now, there are no laws with this situation.
This event pertains to a homosexual male and female parties in the United States, therefore it is directly related to the gender theme for our course. As of now, homosexuals are not looked at as equals in our country, and almost every other country in the world. Whether the gender of the human is male or female, both genders are barred from getting married to each other...
