  The World's Great Religions
  
       Judaism, Christianity and Islam are three closely related religions. They all revenue Abraham and certain other patriarchs mentioned in the Bible as their spiritual ancestors, they are called Abramic religions (Warsmer 2). " The God of Islam, Allah, is basically the God of Judaism and Christianity". Like Christianity and Judaism, Islam began among the predominantly semitic peoples at the southeastern corner of the Mediterranean basin. Christianity and Islam are the most widespread world's religions.
  
       There are some similarities and differences between Christianity, Islam and Judaism religion. Islam, the youngest of man's great universal religions, is also in many ways the simplest and most explicit. It venerates a single, all powerful God. It's, founder, Mohammed, was neither savior nor messiah, but one through whom God chose to speak. Unlike those religions which evolved slowly from obscure and legendary origins, Islam came into being in the full light of history and spread with hurricane speed...
