We live in a society in which people may own firearms and there is a strong history of ownership of firearms(hematite. ... Still others argue that a guns only purpose is to kill and that no good can come from owning a gun. Also argued is that the gun manufacturers should be held liable if their product is used to harm someone. These arguments are just a few of the many arguments surrounding guns and how the law should control them. ... The fact that anyone with a clean criminal record can get a gun permit concerns many people, giving to the notion that crimes involving guns would lower if it was not so easy to obtain a gun to begin with. ... To date, no gun law has been proven to reduce crime or homicides, not even the Brady Law.
Some people argue that guns should be controlled because the only purpose of a gun is to kill and people who own guns are just murderers who haven’t killed yet. This is not the case, as there are many uses for a gun outside of the intent to harm another person.
