The undividable fight for life

Herbert Ratner, M.D. Abortion is classified as the termination of a pregnancy before birth, resulting in the death of a fetus. Abortion is one of today's most ethical and theoretical debates of our time. Abortion has been in constant controversy since the legalization in the late 1800's. This induced termination of pregnancy has led to continuous battles in the Congress of the United States as well as state legislatures. The debate over what is right and wrong, when it comes to abortion, has spilled over into confrontations, which at times have been violent.
