Everyday American's are out spending more and more money that they may or may not have available in an account. By using a debit card, credit card, check, or just simply cash, it's easy for people to fall into debt. Teenagers are given the privilege of a credit card, and quickly take advantage of it, while a housewife goes out spending her husband's paychecks on unneeded gifts for herself, or maybe it's just a careless person who doesn't know how to use their money wisely.
Falling into debt at a young age is a common problem in the United States. Too many teenagers are offered an ATM and credit card by their parents or a corporation. Once that teenager hits age of eighteen, the letters start coming in the mail. "You've been approved for a Platinum Visa." "Once you sign up, receive $200 free just for signing up." By giving teenagers the privilege to spend as much money as they can, they fully take advantage of it. They don't remember that by using a credit card, you have to pay that money sooner or later...
