Dracula Essay
The way Bram Stoker wrote DRACULA was in journal form. One reason that he might do this is because he wanted the reader to see everything from Johnathan Harker's point of view. Johnathan Harker who is a businessman was not a believer in superstitions or any supernatural powers. So in Johnathan's journal you see him critizing all his peers. Also in the journal you see him trying to explain supernatural experinces and him gradually turning into a believer of the unexplained. Johnathan is also good at describing the scenery. He describes beautiful scenery as well as dark,cold,scary scenery. The reader also can tell that Johnathan gets scared a few times during the book.
