Homosexuals in recent years have been arguing for the right to allow same sex marriages. Should homosexuals be allowed to marry same sex partners? Many people that hear about this issue frown because they believe it is immoral and down right indecent. However, I believe same sex marriages should be legalized. Allowing same sex marriages would prove we are a free country, would unite us a stronger nations, and, finally, would offer benefits and security to such couples.
First, granting the ability for homosexual partners to get married would prove that we, the United States, are a free country. All over the world, we are known as the country of the free and the united. If you were to turn on the television, you would see some other countries are poor and are binded to strict harsh rules. I have talked with people on the Internet from other countries that talk about their resent on their government for all the insane rules they have to follow.
