This course is about thinking strategically and managing for success in a rapidly changing global
marketplace. It is designed to be a challenging and exciting course focusing on the theme that a
company achieves sustained success when its managers are able to develop a global mindset, work
effectively to convert global presence into competitive advantage, and strive to change the rules of
the game by executing their plan with proficiency. This course is also designed to practice
workplace skills that will distinguish the beginning manager and lead to increasingly more
responsible work assignments. Like effective strategy, this course is about process and content.
