Lowering The Drinking Age

The current legal drinking age in the US is 21.
I think that the drinking age should be drop to 18.
Why? Because the current drinking age is illogical and it does not go in line with the other social laws.
Many US citizens disagree with this age.
About 20-30 years ago the age was 18 but it was moved up to 21 to stop drunk driving accidents.
When teens of the '50s, '60s, and '70s went off to college, the drinking age was 18.
When arriving as freshmen, almost all college students were of legal age and having a beer was no big deal.
Today having a beer if you are under 21 is a crime.
I agree with those who believe that the age to legally be able to purchase, consume or possess alcohol should be 18...
