Fat Lawsuits Could Weigh on Economy I have always wondered “why people become obese in America and why the rate is still increasing?” I want to know why the government doesn’t do anything about this issue. This can be a big danger and cause many health problems for Americans. This is a very interesting topic and that’s because I want to know why America is the only country that suffers from this issue. For instance we don’t have to worry about this problem in my country or maybe many other countries. Therefore, I researched about obesity to learn more about it and hopefully find the answer to my questions. I searched for obesity on internet using different search engines and found general information to learn more about it. But then I searched through George Mason Library database and I found this article called “Fat Lawsuits Could Weigh on Economy”. This article got my attention because it talks about the employment related obesity discrimination and the threat of lawsuits.
