I know when you all read this you're gonna freak so here goes.
This song could be about alot of things mentioned, such as true love, CLIFF,
james feelings for his mother, for the fans, not caring what other people think.
But after listening to this song many time, and liking it more and more, one
possible theory could be about a relationship, not just any one, but an interracial
relationship. It may not be about James.....it could be about him or someone he knows.
But I look at it this way,

forever trusting who we are, and nothing else matters
To me , no matter how far apart they are, even after
they break up, the won't forget each other. And nothing matters to them
