Why is the percentage of eligible people who actually vote falling? Why are more and more Americans staying away from the voting polls? I believe the reason is quite simple. People lack the knowledge of either who the candidates are and/or what the candidates they their positions are on various issues. Moreover, people feel, especially in the presidential election, that their vote does not count. If something is not done quickly and the numbers of people voting continues to dwindle, America might be forced to consider other voting options.
Would you vote for a candidate that you nothing about? Most of America would not. It makes no sense. And Americans are generally lazy and thus forth, will not invest the time or effort to research candidates...
