My intention is to explain the effects of the use of steroids with athletes. Therefore, I will define and explain the use and reasons they are used by professional athletes, and why they are banned in almost all professional sports. I then will go further into detail about the effects they have on the human body when used and why they are still widely used. Finally I will explain how they are bad for not only the user but they are also bad for the public that surrounds them.
In writing this paper I hope to tell give reasons to readers of my paper, current users, or athletes thinking about using them why not to take steroids. I want them to know the effects that they have on the younger people that look up to them as idols.
