He was a man that taught the world to get along with each other. He was the man that delivered the famous “I Have a Dream” speech. He preached freedom for everyone. He was one of the most famous Civil Rights Movement leaders. Who was this man? Martin Luther King, Jr... Today I’m going to be talking to you about Martin Luther King, Jr... In my speech I will tell you about his early years, his acknowledgements and awards, why he’s a good communicator, and about his death. Martin Luther King, Jr. was born Tuesday, January 15, 1929, at his family home in Atlanta, Georgia. He was first son and second child born to Reverend Martin Luther King, Sr. and Alberta Williams King. His older sister’s name was Yolanda Denise. He had a brother and a sister born a couple years after him named Dexter Scott and Bernice Albertine. According to The Seattle Times, Martin Luther King, Jr. scored so high on his college exam tests in high school that he attended Morehouse College early at age 15.
