Eight Seconds

FivesixsevenOh no! He gets bucked off with only a second left, better luck next time. If you haven't already figured it out, I interviewed a bare back rider, who happens to be my Uncle Kenny. I sat down and talked with him Saturday, April 17, 2004. I talked to him about the risks involved, why he did it, along with a few other interesting facts.
Kenny first started when he was 15 years old. He always enjoyed the rodeo and as Kenny stated, "why the heck not try it?" He was in an amateur league and rode in small towns all over Nebraska. When he grew older he rode a lot at the feedlot where he worked. Kenny rode all the way until he was around 26 or 27 years old...
