Curriculum and learning
What is curriculum?
It is all the planned learning opportunities offered by the organisation to learners and experiences learners encounter when the curriculum is implemented. This does not include the hidden curriculum.
What is learning?
Learning is ; to gain knowledge, understanding, or skill by study or experiences: memorise.
The saber-tooth curriculum.
It tells the story of a prehistoric tribe which decided to introduce systematically designed to meet particular survival needs in the local environment and so included such as subjects as saber-tooth-tiger-scaring with-fire. But the climate of the region changes and the saber-tooth tigers died. Attempts to change the curriculum to meet new survival needs encounter stern opposition.
