King Louis IX's Exercise of Authority and Leadership
Between 1226 and 1270, King Louis IX had contributing a lot of wonderful things to his people, especially to the Christianity. Many people like the way he has ruling his country. Saint Louis IX crusade to rescue the Holy Land and his leadership and authority over his country has vindicated him to be one of the most respect leaders in the church history.
There are three most important impressions about King Louis' exercise of authority and leadership: first, his faith to the Trinity and to God's laws; second, his desire for peace with the King of England; finally, his openhandedness to the poverty and to the Christianity.
King Louis IX's faith to the Trinity and to God's laws leads to his exercise of authority and leadership. By following in God's law, he can be able to justify his people well. His faith to the Trinity helps him to be benevolent person. Without his faith to God, he would fall into the demon's hand and do things evil to his people. He believes that strong faith in the Trinity will help him overcome any problems in his life. He once says to the devil when the devil tries things such as a temptation: "Go away!..
