To completely understand the life of Paul, apostle to the Gentiles, one must begin at the beginning. There needs to be a completely understanding of his upbringing, his childhood, his schooling, and many other influences that had drastic implications in his life. To often opinions are formed as to his life without fully understanding the motivating factors behind his actions. ... Was Paul saved? ... Sadly many readers begin the life of Paul starting in Acts. They see Paul as a hater of Christians and a persecutor. It would seem obvious to the reader that Paul could not have possible been saved, to display such hatred towards children of God.
