Situation- Barry Bonds' image and reputation has been tainted amidst the controversy of steroid use over the last few years, especially because of his record-breaking 73 homerun season in 2001. While never admitting to steroid use, much of the public is convinced that Bonds has used and may still be using steroids. Because major league baseball does not test for steroids, the accusation of use should not be an issue.
Objectives- To increase public awareness of Bonds' outstanding career before the 2001 season. To educate the public as to how consistent Bonds' career statistics have been up to the 2001 season.
Target Audience- Major league baseball fans; more specifically men aged 21-30 who watch ESPN.
Strategies- 1. Have a website created about Bonds' personal nutrition and health.
2. Write a personalized nutrition book following Bonds' meals during training phases and host a book signing on the release date...
