American Graffiti
On Tuesday the 23rd and Thursday the 25th of September we watched a classic movie called American Graffiti. It stared Ron Howard, who I used to watch and still do from the television show Happy Days. The main characters of the movie just got out of high school, and are now hanging out over the summer before they have to go away for college. They cruise around the town, in classic cars that I wish I could have, they hang out at the local restaurant, which is drive up and just hang out together. Even though this movie was made before I was even born, I can very easily relate to it in many ways.
Both the teens in the movie and myself have just graduated from high school, so there summer was almost like the summer I had before I started college. The place where they all hang out and get food reminds me off how my friends and I go out to Fridays. We all are busy during the week, so we go out every once and awhile to stay together. We do this because for some of us this we our last times hanging out with the same people. Because some of them will be going far away to college and we wont be able to see them for a long time...
