What is international marketing?
The process of planning and conducting transactions across national borders to create exchanges that satisfy the individuals and organizations.
It is the process of management. The principles that apply to traditional marketing apply to international marketing as well. The difference is that in international marketing (or global marketing) there are market segments that require specific marketing strategies to be created.
International marketing is the result of globalization and technical advance. Companies can now buy supplies, produce and sell goods in countries far from their home offices. Products conceived in one country are now being manufactured and then sold in many others. For example, Sony (Japan), Nestl (Switzerland), Bic (France), and Volkswagen (Germany) have become household words around the world.
