The one part of ethics that is universal is freedom; freedom from being objectified by others and yourself. Mankind's free choice separates him from the rest of the world. By saying feedom is the universal part ot ethics Sartre means that every man has the ability to understand and participate in those codes of ethics other than his oun surrounding. Therefore, he has the freedom to be what he wants to be. Choosing what I believe gives me that universal freedom. I choose what color I like, the religion I follow, my sexuality, and everything from a-z that I am able to choose. Every sane person in the world has the freedom to choose thus, making freedom the universal content of ethics...
