Many different viewpoints come to mind when we think of war. War was an every day event for many in the far past. Of the four major wars in our countries History (WWI, WWII, Civil War, and Vietnam War), all of them were to the benefit of our country. While many people say it isn’t worth killing many men, I believe the men who died defending us in war would be proud of what they have done and most would be proud of what they did to help our country for the benefit of today.
As far as the United States goes, war today is very different than war of long ago. War is not what anybody wants to do. Usually war is the last thing we want to do to solve the problem at hand. Most people of the “anti-war” party think war is a result of people who do not care about others and have a need for violence. Anti war critics assume that everyone in the army or any other military because they love to kill people, trust me they don’t.
