Britney Spears: The Onyx Hotel Tour
Concert Review
After about five months of waiting, on March 29 it was finally time for me to attend the Britney Spears concert in Orlando. Being a huge Britney fan for the past six years, I was filled with excitement and anticipation. I have attended a total of four Britney concerts, dating back to 1999. Like most Britney fans, I have practically grown up with Britney. Despite the negative criticism constantly being thrown at her by the press, I have never stopped liking her.
The day of the show, my friend Meredith and I left for Orlando around 4:00. We checked into our hotel, got ready, and headed for the arena. We found our seats, which were surprisingly close to the stage, and waited patiently for Britney to make her entrance. The two opening acts seemed to drag on forever.
Finally, after a short intermission following the opening acts, the lights went out...
