The play Bedroom Farce takes place in present day England based on the accents of the actors. It occurs at 7 pm on a Saturday night and proceeds through the following morning. The play takes place in three different bedrooms each belonging to a different couple although there are four couples in the play. The first couple is Ernest and Delia whom are middle aged, based on Ernest's graying hair and their old-fashioned nightwear. They live in a contemporary bedroom, which contains modern magazines and the clapper. The clapper is present-day but it is something that is generally used by older people.
