Throughout the centuries, history has proven that no person can survive by himself/herself alone. Human must depend on each other to maximize what they want to achieve. For example, back in the Stone Age, our ancestors depended on each other for food. Sometimes a caveman did not hunt successfully on a certain day; hence he/she must depend on the generosity of the other cavemen for food. In return, when the latter cavemen were in need, the former caveman would give the food he had successfully hunted to help them. Now in the modern age, store owners and consumers are interdependent. If the store owner stops selling basic needs to the consumers, then the consumers would not be able to survive. On the other hand, if the consumer stops buying from the store owner, then the store owner would run out of business. Eventually, the store owner would not be able to survive also. From these examples, we can see that even though each individual has dignity and value in and of themselves, but we need relationships and community in order to fully become a human...
