The word psychology can have many different meanings to different people. The book defines psychology as the science of individual behavior and mental processes. For most psychologists they have there own views and theories on psychology. There are five different schools of thought, each focus on different areas, and all have different explanations for "life's mysterious."
The first kind of psychology I am going to talk about is biological psychology. This is based on the belief that people inherit their behaviors from their parents. Biological psychologist search for causes of behavior in heredity and in the function of the nervous system and endocrine system. There is not just one person or "founder" of biological psychology, but there are a lot of psychologists to choose from. Many psychologists have attributed to this type of study over the years, so it I hard to just pick one psychologist and say he is the founder of biological psychology.
