What is marriage? Marriage to me is abond between two individual that express something more than just love. The dictionary meaning of marriage is the following:
The legal union of a man and woman as husband and wife
The state of being married; wedlock
A common-law marriage
A union between two persons having the customary but usually not the legal force of marriage: a same-sex marriage
Who is the one that decides what a legal force of marriage is, The government or the church? In this it seems they both are running the show. Some people who believe strongly in their religion think it should be applied to the law.
There are many reasons why people oppose same-sex marriage. The most heard of reason people are against it is, because they believe that marriage is between a man and woman. As I previously asked, who decides who can get married? The people who choose are the people who want to get married. people can make decisions for others...
