For my Research paper I chose to do a topic from an area we did not cover in class. I decided to do my topic on Robert E. Lee because he is not a very popular guy mentioned in the history books because he was general of the South, I would like to tell you about his life because he was a great man though being in support of the Southern views. This fits into what we are talking about in class because it is about a man in the civil war. What I want to make with this essay is for people to know about General Lee, and to show how General Lee is not a bad guy as he is portrayed in Civil War History.
