"The Matrix" is a futuristic thriller movie that has contains tension, excitement, and intelligence. They use revolutionary technology along with traditional science fiction techniques. There is no movie like "The Matrix", which combines Hong Kong movie styles along with advanced "realistic" technology.
To my surprise, "The Matrix" is unlike the usual boring and rather simplistic science fiction movies with the futuristic wars. Instead the directors took a gamble with new ideas and it was successful.
The movie starts off with Thomas Anderson (Keanu Reeves), a software programmer during the day and a hacker by night with the code name Neo. He is then confronted by Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) and she brings him to her leader, Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne). Throughout the movie Trinity appears to be a partner and lover to Neo...
