History / Background
Desa WaterPark is a water theme park located in Taman Danau Desa off Jalan Klang
Lama Kuala Lumpur. It's the only waterpark located within the Kuala Lumpur City limits, Desa WaterPark is easily and quickly accessible from most parts of the city by a wide network of roads, the latest being the Pantai Expressway. Commenced operations in August 1998, the park is operated by Amat Muhibah Sdn. Bhd. which is a subsidiary company of Berjaya Land Berhad whose headquarters is in Menara Berjaya, KL Plaza in Jalan Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumper. The park is jointly managed by the Park Manager (Mr. Rajah Muthukumaru) and the Finance & Admin Manger (Mr. Yee Kwok Foo) under the leadership of our Executive Director (Mr. Khor Poh Waa)
The park offers wholesome family entertainment and because of its features it is also an ideal location for hosting gatherings and family days. It's main attraction is "The Thunderbolt" the worlds biggest uphill family water coaster and it also houses Malaysia's biggest wavepool...
