My name is Iain Murray and I am a drama fanatic. For a very long time now I have wanted to be an actor. I have had experiences with theatre at the local playhouse, and this has helped me to develop my craft. However the greatest opportunities to learn and achieve have come from attending Year 12 Drama at St Lukes Anglican school. Attending this course I have been able to discover my strengths and weaknesses in the field of drama. In this essay I will show what they are, I will use past performances for a guide and hopefully show the growth I have had as a performer.

Time wasting, procrastination or just plain lazy, any of these would be sufficient attributes that I could be labelled with. In all areas of my drama experiences these three traits can be seen, it would seem that if I could just get motivated for a long enough period of time I could achieve work that I know I am capable of.
